Apparently it’s THIS close to official: Guy Richie and Madonna are splitting up! Looking at her chart, I’m extremely curious to see how she handles all of it in the weeks to come, since she’s got Saturn transiting her Mercury at five degrees Virgo and Mars about to join him there next week. Mercury is the Material Girl’s source for all her material, so with both malefics joining him there in the upcoming two weeks we’re either going to see a return to her once fierce need to express herself publicly, or she’s going to be turning all her resources to expressing herself more thoroughly than before with her husband when he comes to visit her in New York. The last time Saturn was rocking her Mercury she was eighteen and had just moved to NYC, and we all know how that turned out… Fortunately there’s a New Moon in Cancer this Wednesday and Venus in Cancer opposes Jupiter in Capricorn exactly that same day. Since this falls in her houses of friendship and play/creativity/children, I think she’s got more than enough support in her private life to give her the strength she will need to get through this time. Well, after all the fireworks and excitement of last week, I must admit I’m relieved to report that the week ahead ought to be relatively calm. With Mercury now firmly direct and on course it’s time for us to collectively take care of all the things we haven’t had time for in the past few weeks and with Mars and Pluto about to trine early next week in Leo and Sag we’ll be more than ready to do so. A word to the wise, my little squirrels: If you find yourself getting impatient, remember that all the nuts you gather now will only prove truly useful this fall and early winter.

The Mars / Pluto trine next week is significant because when Pluto leaves Sag for good in November it will only be another month before Mars crosses the same point Pluto’s been transiting for the past year or so. Wherever in your lives you’ve been causing transformations this week is a good one for seeing the early results of it, little dumplings. There’s still quite a lot of road to traverse, but if you didn’t catch a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel last week, then by the end of this one you’re almost sure to. I’m happy to report we’ve got another golden week ahead of us, little Ducklings! With both the Sun and Venus making a trine to Jupiter this week people will be making good on all sorts of promises, not to mention promise, as in fulfilling their potential and running with it. Especially you water and earth signs, and especially Taurus and Scorpio, which benefit this month from a New and a Full Moon respectively, lending weight and heightened emotional import to all every action. The trine of the Sun to Jupiter on Monday revs up our engines and gets us going, and by Sunday with Venus trining Jupiter it’s time to throw a party and celebrate. The only slight hiccup might come on Wednesday when the Sun squares Neptune, and some of us might have to make some distinctions between what we want to believe and what we’re forced to concede is true. If that’s you, then cheer up little Chicken, have a stiff drink and go play with your friends. That’s what they’re good for. Well, my little chickadees, the week starts out all shiny and fresh and new under the New Moon in Taurus, and with Venus there as well it looks as though we get off to a pretty smooth start. If it weren’t for the fact that we kick off the week with a grand trine in earth featuring the Sun and Saturn, I’d be predicting fireworks and bloodshed this week, my Sweet Little Gherkins! But even that Mars trine Uranus on Tuesday can’t quite rub the shine off Saturn trining Pluto in Virgo and Capricorn this week. Although both planets are in retrograde, the fact remains that although we may be second guessing our plans and the people we’ve made them with, we are wedded to them both and we’re willing to stick it out. Good thing, too, since this week our enemies may jump at the chance to take us down and even our allies will be testing us to see if we really mean all that we say. It’s time to fight for what we believe in. Or to believe in what we fight for. Just remember whichever side we fall on someone else feels exactly the same way in reverse. A duel to the death isn’t necessary here; our world is significantly more interesting when it contains paradox. Well, March is done and gone and it’s out with the Lion, and in with you, my Darling Little Lambikins! Actually, I’m not sure that saying is completely appropriate, given that March belongs to gentle Pisces and April belongs to fierce Aries. Especially since Mercury and Venus left Pisces for Aries last week to square Pluto in Capricorn followed shortly by that new moon in Aries last Saturday loosely squaring both Jupiter in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer. Actually, if anything, it looks to me like you Pisces, who have been going great guns for the past little bit are in for a bit of rethinking and regrouping, and you Aries are seriously about to pick up the torch Pisces drops and running with it all Olympic style! As for the rest of us, that new moon in Aries last Saturday got us seriously facing any conflicts we’re having with people right now, so everyone’s going a bit doo-lalley and there’s all sorts of internal combustions and arguments going on. Just remember that with Jupiter slowing to retrograde, Pluto retrograde, and Saturn retrograde, we’re approaching a period of rethinking a ton of stuff so we can make some headway later on. Well, my Brightly Colored Hard-boiled Egglets, Here it is, another Monday morning and the line is forming at the counter at Café Tropical. Hooray! Another week down, another one to go! Peering into the week ahead it’s all sunshine and clear skies until the weekend. Even then there’s no clouds, actually, but the sun might be a little too bright. Wear your soulshades, Little Darlin’s. Basically we’ve got all sorts of harmonious aspects between Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Jupiter up until Friday, especially for Water and Earth signs. It’s a great week to discuss, talk amongst yourselves, and cause world peace.
