Corey Moore: Congrats on joining season 3 of Dante's Cove. How was your experience on the show?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: Absolutely positive! I was a little nervous joining an already-established cast, but they immediately took me under their wing and treated me like family. I learned so much from a great group of people.
CM: Any embarrassing or funny moments while shooting Dante's Cove?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: I did my first-ever sex scene on Dante’s Cove. I was anxious going into it, but quickly realized that the 3 minute scene would take 2 hours to shoot, that it would be totally choreographed, and that the director would stop everything immediately if I felt uncomfortable.
CM: Your character "Trevor" comes to Dante's Cove looking to find himself....what exactly is he "looking" for?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: He’s simply looking for a new start. He gets MUCH more than he bargained for!
CM: The show is packed full of hot, sweaty, hunky guys, how does your other half Ryan deal with that?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: It’s work so it’s not as if there is any intimate interaction between me and other cast members. What you see on screen is not how it is in the real world.
CM: Loved your book Here's What We'll Say: A Memoir of Growing Up, Coming Out and the U.S. Air Force. Are you planning to write another book anytime soon?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: Yes, I’m currently working on the sequel to Here’s What We’ll Say. It will start at the very time the first book ended, where we throw our hats in the air at my Air Force Academy Graduation.

CM: What's something we don't know about Reichen that we can't read about or see on TV?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: I’m a neat-freak!
CM: What side of the bed do sleep on?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: Always closest to the door in the room. It’s a “protector” thing.
CM: What or who do you think is Hot in Hollywood?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: Anyone who survives in this complicated business.
CM: Most importantly, M&M's: Plain or peanut?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: Peanut, no question.
CM: So what is going on with your jewelry line?
Reichen Lehmkuhl: “Fly Naked with Reichen” was just picked up by Fred Segal. The launch of the line will take place at their Melrose Avenue store in Los Angeles on 26 October. 10% of all gross proceeds go to Servicemembers Legal Defense Network to fight the ban on the open service of gay people in the military. Currently, you can browse the line and purchase pieces at Loveand Pride.
