Hello Summer Hot in Hollywood! Yup this weekend is the unofficial start of the summer, which of course means bye bye to some of our favorite shows for awhile. But while we mourn the loss of Grey's, Ugly Betty, The Office, hell even American Idol here are some talking points for you when you are at your barbeques, pool parties, waiting in line for Indiana Jones or hanging out at the beach. 

On House we saw the conclusion of the two part season finale, the first was called House's head the second WIlson's Heart. Wilson is fine, but sadly his love Cutthroat Bitch is dead. Did that sound crass didn't mean to be. To recap House was in a bus crash and when he woke up in a strip club he could not remember how he got there, all he knew is that someone was going to die and he had to save them. It was not the bus driver as he initially thought, instead it was Amber. House got drunk at a bar and called WIlson to drive him, Wilson was still working so Amber went to get him, that is why she was on the bus hence in the crash with him. But sadly, even after House went under brain surgery to recover memories they were not able to save Amber. It was truly a heart wrenching moment, and for someone with the name Cutthroat Bitch she sure went out with Grace.

So I'm at LAX waiting for my baggage (non-emotional, thank you) and as I peruse the wardrobe stylings of my fellow passengers returning home, a favorite past time of mine, I spy a wonderful pair of shoes on a lovely lady. Mycoskie adopted the style of the traditional light-weight Argentinean shoe Alpargatas and made it more contemporary, fashionable and eye-catching. The formula behind Blake's goal is simple: "End poverty in third-world countries through fashion, generosity, and charity." HOW PERFECT IS THAT?!

But how is this done you may be asking yourself, well for every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS gives a pair of shoes to a child in need. TOMS Shoes has given over 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina, they just got back from South Africa where they gave away over 50,000 pairs while partnering up with Isaac, Taylor, and Zac Hanson of the musical group Hanson. The next “shoe drop” is slated for THIS YEAR in Ethiopia.

Wear your soulshades, Little Darlin’s. Basically we’ve got all sorts of harmonious aspects between Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Jupiter up until Friday, especially for Water and Earth signs. It’s a great week to discuss, talk amongst yourselves, and cause world peace. However, all along, burbling under the surface is a pending square between the Sun exalted in Aries and Mars in detriment in Cancer that comes to a head Sunday. At that point let’s just hope that your peace talks have been direct, causative, and addressed real issues, otherwise all your hard work may come undone. Those most affected are Cancers born around the first of July, like Lindsay Lohan, born July 2, 1986. As for the rest of you lot, buck up! Let’s get crackin’! It’s another week, all fresh with no mistakes yet made in it!

It is dead of winter and we are breaking all of PETA'S rules in hollywood. The days of no one being caught dead in real fur are gone!!!! Fur is back with a vengence, whether we like it or not. We started to see this in Paris where Givenchy and Dior showed fur on the runways for Fall/Winter 2008. Now it is a reality....Last night we caught Paris in a white fur coat leaving Benny Medina's (uber-manager to the stars) Party. Mischa Barton was just seen on friday at the airport with a brown fox coat in hand. Lindsay was spotted outside a NY bar last night in a tan mink coat. Kate Hudson (very surprising) was seen at Paris Fashion week in a white rabbit fur trench coat. So break out your mom's rabbit or fox coats from the 80's or your granmothers mink stole and join the Pro-fur revolution!!! Atleast if it is vintage it is recycled!!!!

I was at Fred Segal yesterday, one of THE Hottest Shops in Hollywood and I SCORED big time! For those of you who don't know if you want to do some fabulous shopping...with celebrities, have a great lunch...with celebrities and go into debt by buying a single blouse...without the bank account of a celebrity's, this is the place for you!

Seriously, this place is SO hot (You can shop for $20 make-up or an $8,000 dress) EVERYBODY goes there: Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, Eric Dane, Winona Ryder (not stealing), Eva Longoria, Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Nicole Kidman...even Madonna, are ALL fans! (As a matter of fact Sara Gilbert was getting out of her car while I was parking and Parker Posey had just finished lunch as we walked in for coffee.)

Anyway, once a year they have THE SALE which starts off as any ‘ol normal sale and then ends up as a LUNATIC sale with things being almost 90% off. Two weeks ago they had a 50% Sale and then last week they had their 2/3% off Sale. Now being the mega shopper that I am, I did a lap throughout the store and yea, though I found a T-Shirt that I loved and it was $702! (SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS FOR A T-SHIRT PEOPLE!?) they STILL HAVE pieces 50% OFF AND IF YOU BUY 5 OR MORE, YOUR ENTIRE PURCHASE IS 2/3'S OFF!

Which leads me to my headline. I picked up a bunch of designer labels, including but not limited to Theory and Robert Graham, AND SAVED ALMOST $600!
