And here's why: Despite the absence of stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who play paranormal investigators, this two-and-a-half-minute preview offers only two scenes from the 1970s-set film that lure you in right away. Here, we catch Lili Taylor as a mom who plays a variation of hide-and-seek with her daugthers...and let's just say the hand clap will never be the same.

Yes it’s true.. a parody of the famous film “What Ever Happened To Baby Jane” is in the works from "Everything is Going to be Just Fine" filmmaker Billy Clift and his producing partner Robby Roll. They have come up with a sneak preview of the film and will soon be releasing the world premiere 9 min. trailer on Youtube on May 5th. Billy Clift came up with the idea after witnessing Matthew Martin in the camp musical “Christmas With The Crawford’s” (LA, SF, NYC) where he played the diabolic “Baby Jane”. “Matthew played Jane with such conviction that he not just played Bette Davis, he became her. Not since the amazing talents of Charles Pierce has there been anyone to compare”. On the set of filming the Baby Jane? trailer, Billy commented that he was “amazed by Matthew’s professionalism and complete commitment to the character. After seeing Matthew I knew that people needed to be able to enjoy his talents on a broader level... and what better then film. Right now is the perfect time for a good laugh.” So if you want a good laugh, check out the sneak preview and stay tuned for more to come from these guys. “We plan on having Bette’s Blog, more Youtube interview's with Bette when other cast members come on board and Bette’s helpful hints around the house.”

The California Independent Film Festival will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary April 16-20 in Livermore, one of California's oldest wine regions. It's minutes away from where movie legend Charlie Chaplin made his most famous films - The Champion and The Tramp. The festival recently nominated it's Best of Ten Years - Short Comedies. Three out of the four nominees are from Los Angeles. Yay!! That's so Hot In Hollywood!

Our very own Abigail Carpenter's short film, God's Beach, has been accepted to this years Tribeca Film Festival from April 23rd - May 4th in New York City. The Tribeca Film Festival is world renowned, attracting over two million attendees from the US and abroad. Well done Abby!!!! God's Beach is a meditative look at a young girl's life over 48 hours, and how the cyclical forces of life and death cause her to mature and grow. Get to New York and check these screenings below!

as a casting director, i've worked on all sorts of projects. from tv shows that everyone's heard of (THAT '70s SHOW) to stuff you'll never see (HACKETT, see, you've never heard of it). in the last 6 months i've had the pleasure of casting some amazing GLBT bent fare, and some of it is available online for you to watch!

TINSELTOWN -- from henson alternative (that's brian henson, jim henson's son!) for the logo network. arguably i did very little casting on this, just some additional work. but that work helped me land a second gig with HENSON, casting an entire animated children's series for them and PBS!! but TINSELTOWN is amazing, and why logo didn't pick up this pilot presentation for anymore episodes is beyond my fucking comprehension. but then, when i turn on logo i realize why. they don't know good programming from a hole in the ground. they ran TINSELTOWN as part of their
"Alien Bootcamp" animated anthology series. it was better than anything else on that fucking show.

our TRANNY MCGUYVER film is a 20 minute episode of over the top, ridiculous camp. it stars willam belli, lindsay hollister and marshall cook. guest stars included "noah's arc" alum darryl stephens; (my 3 Way girls) jill bennett and cathy shim; "criminal minds" own kirsten vangsness; "deal or no deal" model extraordinare hayley marie norman; calpernia addams; and the amazing miss coco peru. look for it to be coming your way in the next couple of months!!!! we've submitted it to outfest, so wish us luck there.
