You've seen him on "Three Wishes" & "Trading Spaces" in the past. Now he's got his own show "Carter Can", Thursdays at 8:30 PM ET/PT on HGTV. Check out my one on one with the hunky carpenter Carter Oosterhouse.
Corey Moore: Congrats on "Carter Can." We're digging all the "green" stuff you use on the show. Have you always been an eco-friendly carpenter?
Carter O: Well, I grew up with it all my life (household cleaners, organic food) now i’m just teaching everyone else how to use it in their lives.
CM: What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you while filming the show?
CO: When I build something to big to fit in to the house, that always sucks!
CM: What's something about Carter that we can't see on TV or read about?
CO: People think I dance like Bill Cosby.
CM: You've been named one the "Sexiest Men on TV" by People magazine. How'd that make you feel?
CO: It was a slow year for the A-listers and a good year for people like me.
CM: You're foundation Carter's Kids is an amazing idea. What was the inspiration for it?
CO: Don’t have any kids but I usually get along with them..plus I wanted to promote recreation rather than video games..
CM: I hear you have a cool indoor mini bike track in your barn in Michigan. What's the deal?
CO: Funny story...I bought a farm, they used to board horses indoors, I’m not a horse guy, now it's an indoor Pit Bike Track!!
CM: Who or what do you think is Hot in Hollywood?
CO: Malibu fires (is that bad).I love Entourage, everyone loves it..I wish I was on that show!!
CM: Most importantly...M&M's plain or peanut?
CO: Plain M & M’s, nuts just get in the way...
