Happy weekend HIHers! And happy one it is for the couch since Thursday night comedies came back on NBC. Oh it feels good to laugh. Sorry for the absence we did not forget about you, and cause we love you here is our week in review.

A sign that the apocalypse that was the writer's strike is really over as everyone's favorite shows are slowly returning, First it was How I Met Your Mother, and we are now hearing that Sarah Chalke, who plays Stella the plastic surgeon who removed Ted's tramp stamp and then took her on the cutest two minute date ever maybe be back for more episodes. (whew mouthful) Our thought is that Stella is the mother of How I Met Your Mother! Yea we know that is not as mind blowing as Michael is on the ship or Penny's Dad is the big bad on Lost but it is still pretty good. One little throw away line of her saying that she went to a St Patrick's Day party last week but left connected with Ted's saying to his kids at the end of the St. Patrick's Day episode that he didn't know it but their Mom was at that same party.

And then finally it happened. Must see TV came back on Thursday night will all new episodes of My Name is Earl, 30 Rock, The Office and Scrubs which may or may not be moving to ABC next season. Let's get to the good ones.

So how long until Fox Reality put on MILF Island? We are giving it two months, we bet you it is even in development right now. And how much do we love Alec Baldwin, every scene with him is a gem especially when he finally cracks Liz in the end with the stutter and how the state of Massachusetts classified him as a Grade A Moron. You can all just eat my poo.

Babe, that was the most awkward dinner party ever. Babe, I think it was the scented candles or the Dundie thrown at the $200 plasma screen TV that did it in, babe. The Office came back with a vengeance and let us in on the home life of Michael and Jan which involves, an office, a workspace, a broken glass door (Michael really loves the ice cream man), the smallest plasma screen TV, and Jan's Serenity candles. During the three hour waiting period for dinner, we got to see the best game of celebrity ever, Jim and Pam confessionals in the only safe room of the house the bathroom, Dwight showing up with his baby sitter and beet salad, the realization that Michael has had three vasectomies and of course Hunter's song for Jan. Love those dance moves. The culmination of the night was a Dundie through a TV and the cops showing up and telling Michael that he should sleep elsewhere and of course Dwight being Dwight took him home. The icing on the cake, Angela slamming an ice cream cone into Andy's car after he took a lick of it. Personal space their Andy. It was awesome babe.

Reality TV News in a nutshell, American Idol Gives Back had lower ratings than last season and does not look like they are going to be raising as much money as last season either. Plus, the shocker of Michael Johns still sits in our mouth, James is off of Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen is back, and Secret Talents of the Stars is over after one episode.

How do you like your coffee? Black? or with Cream? In this case- BOTH! Cream and Black is the right now combination on red carpets in lala land and abroad. We see hot mommas like Kate Holmes and Nicole Richie rockin this trend this last weekend. We also see the 'IT' girls like Mischa Barton and Carrie Underwood prancin at pre-grammy parties in black and cream. It is such a classic look but a bold one at the same time. Do you know how hard it is to wear cream and still look skinny? Well they all attempted and it WORKED!

Yes, at least we can be thankful for that.

And I was also thankful for my best friend back on the East Coast who had called to give me a heads-up on the outstanding Beyonce-Tina performance that Rocked. The. House. At the age of 69, Miss Turner can still give it, despite a few minor missteps (watch out, B). An incomparable legend she truly is.

Kanye West also won the award for best rap album for Graduation. While he was accepting the trophy, the orchestra tried to play him off the stage as he began speaking about his mother.
"It would be in good taste to stop the music," he said - and the music stopped. "I know you're really proud of me right now and I know you want me to be the No. 1 artist in the world and Mama," West continued, "all I'm going to do is keep making you proud. We run this."

The Grammys, celebrating its 50th anniversary, emphasized its history from the first performance. Alicia Keys, glammed-up with a '50s style, sat at a piano and sang "Learnin' the Blues" along with a black-and-white video performance from the late Frank Sinatra.
"Frank Sinatra looked good for 150, didn't he," Prince joked moments later before introducing Keys as the best female R&B vocal winner for her smash "No One."

As for the rest of the show: Fergie's cleavage dominated the red carpet. A vamped-up Carrie Underwood flaunted some questionable hair extensions (was it me, or did she try to channel Christina Aguilera?). Baby Boomer Tom Hanks reminisced about the Beatles via Julie Taymor (hopefully more people will now make the effort to experience the magic of Across the Universe). Miley Cyrus presented with Cyndi Lauper, who looked like a platinum blond Helena Bonham Carter (girl could have hid several nests in that 'do). Kanye blew the roof off with Daft Punk and then delivered an emotional tribute to his mom. A hot Asian chick was voted by viewers to join the orchestra accompanying Foo Fighters. Natalie Cole looked damn good. Will.I.Am butchered "Strangers in the Night." Herbie Hancock was honored with Album of the Year. And producers let out a collective sigh of relief when Record and Song of the Year winner Amy Winehouse performed live without any bizarre flubs (but what was with that leg shake?).

Saturday's Sugar: Halt!-Her in that fabulous dress! Hot Couture by Jeanette Chivvis

The recent trend in cocktail and formal dresses seems to be moving in a taboo area...bondage halter cocktail dresses. We saw Fergie in that black basket halter dress, Carrie Underwood (one of my fav's) in a floral choker dress....too adorable for words..., and Nicole Scherzinger in a black halter/choker mini. They were all on hand for the American Music Awards. Short was the theme...but the halter bondage neckline was the new trend emerging that night! I love it...I feel that halters and chokers on dresses are very Cindy Crawford 1991....shows off the shoulders and boobs and you don't have to worry about a necklace!

CMA's Sexy Trio Hot Tube by Corey Moore

Just in case you missed the CMA's last night. Here's a little re-cap of three country music hotties that won. Carrie Underwood took home Top Female Vocalist & Single of the Year for "Before He Cheats." Taking home Top Male Vocalist & Music Video of the Year for "Online" was Brad Paisley, and Entertainer of the Year (for 3 years in a row) went to Kenny Chesney.
