Next spring, Chloe Grace Moretz steps into the role of Stephen King's bullied telekinetic teen, an iconic horror character originally played by Sissy Spacek back in 1976 (and later by Angela Bettis in ABC's lackluster 2002 miniseries). Oh, and let's not forget 1999's The Rage: Carrie 2 in which Emily Bergl sent flying CDs into a jock's head and set a house party on fire (yes, I saw that one in the theater).
And as an added star-studded bonus: Julianne Moore plays her religious freak of a mother. (think she's voting for Romney?)
A big-screen remake was inevitable, and if the following teaser is any indication, it promises to deliver one hell of a fiery finale. Apparently, not only does good ol' Carrie "dirty pillows" White blow up her school gymnasium, she torches the rest of the town!
