'The Paperboy' Sells Zac Efron in His Underwear

The blogosphere will surely be buzzing about the just-premiered trailer for The Paperboy.

Directed by Lee Daniels (Precious), the indie looks like a hot, sweaty, pulpy thriller with an impressive cast featuring Nicole Kidman, John Cusack, Macy Gray, and Matthew McConaughey in a role that's making us have flashbacks to 1996's A Time To Kill.

Oh, and then there's Zac Efron. In his tighty-whities. Soaking wet.

We're sure the trailer makers knew what they were doing when they were putting this preview together. A glimpse of some skin never hurts when wooing a movie audience (it's also interesting to see the maturing Mr. Efron front and center in the film's official poster).

And if you were wondering about the plot: A reporter attempts to prove the innocence of a man imprisoned for murder in the deep, dirty South.
