Guess what, HIHers? One of our favorite casting directors in town, the fabulous G. Charles Wright, is back and ready to jump back on the blogwagon for us...

Hi Folks,

There is a hot new eatery in beautiful West Hollywood! It's PRIMO BISTRO on Santa Monica Blvd. west of La Cienega. PRIMO BISTRO is from the same great people who bring us CAFE PRIMO in the Sunset Plaza area. The menu here is different and the style is more formal, in that table service waiters come to you instead of you standing on line to order and then taking a number. But the atmosphere is still very casual, comfortable and at the same time, rich.

The food is exceptional and on the two occasions that I've eaten there, I also found the service to be terrific. Highlights for me were the calamari (spicy!), eggplant parmigiana (deliciouso!) and seasonal fresh fruit (it was all those things!!!)

In these ridiculous economic times, please remember the local business owners in your neighborhood. Please come out and support these places, they need us and WE NEED THEM.
