It was Christmas in Hollywood. Hiko & I went to the Fred Claus premiere and afterparty. The movie stars Vince Vaughn, Paul Giamatti, Rachel Weisz, Elizabeth Banks and my pal John Michael Higgins and whole slew of heavy hitters. The red carpet was packed with stars including Masi Oka (Heroes), Bradley Cooper (Nip/Tuck), Robert Downey Jr., to name just a few.

The movie was tons of fun, and surprisingly touching. What else would you expect from a holiday family film, right? Paul Giamatti (always a favorite) gives a great and very touching performance as Santa Claus.
The after party at The Lot was outrageous! They turned the place into the North Pole, complete with Santa, reindeer, an ice rink, Santa's toy workshop, all the food, candy and cookies you could eat. Plus Santa's sexy helpers decked out in super short skirts and "naughty & nice" t-shirts. We had a blast drinking our eggnog martinis and sitting on Santa's lap. It got me into the Christmas spirit a little early this year, guess I'll get that shopping done ahead of time for once!
Fred Claus opens nationwide on November, 9th.

Sounds fun! When you go to events like this do you ever get to talk to any of the tv/movie people?
I started my Christmas shopping early this year too! On Saturday! yay Nov/Dec!
