Hey everybody, I'm up here in Pismo Beach shooting an indie thriller called "Ten Years Later", directed by newcomer Aaron Metchik, and I just had dinner at a great place called the Cracked Crab. You can get the "Bucket For 2" and it comes with a whole mess of seafood and vegetables dumped right onto the paper-draped table out of a cute little pale. Of course it also comes equipped with a mallet, bib, and fondue pot of melted butter. It's a great place a couple blocks from the board walk in Pismo. (Three hours north of LA on the 101 freeway). When you're here, stay at the Mission Inn; a brand new hotel with great rooms, all the amenities you need, and minutes away from everything. Also check out Avila Beach, just a few miles north. It's beautiful. And definitely round out the visit with some wine-tasting at the local vinyards. This weekend we may be trying a "taste-testing package" with dinner, transportation, and four different vinyard stops . I'll let you know how it goes.
